RANGJUNG FOUNDATION

	On 28th Dec. carried out social work to promote Rangjung Foundation

On 3rd January 2009 Promotion of Rangjung Foundation in Bhutan. The Chief Guest was Home and Cultural Affair Minister Lyonpo Minjur Dorje.

		On 26th April 2009, the people of Bidung who are employed in government and private sectors are gathered for fund raising at Thimphu since their village monastery need to renovate and food and lodging for the monks. Some people said it was great oppertunity to meet each other with their relatives and moreover atleast they got a chance to accumulate merit by donating some amount. The fund raised was handed over to the board of committee of village monastery and will be used accordingly.

		In Bhutan every villages have each monastery to pray for their goodness. The monasteries are very old and need urgent renovation. Therefore, extra social work led by H.H. Garab Rinpoche to raise fund for their own village monastery to renovate. On 24th April 2009 people of Radhi from Trashigang district who are employed in government and private sectors gathered for dinner at Thimphu. The main motivation of organizing this program was raising fund for Radhi Namdrol Choeling Monastery. Hundreds of people donated for their village monastery since it needs to renovate, moreover food and lodging fund for the monks. The fund raised was being handed over to the board of committee of village monastery.

		On 25th April 2009, People of Yurung who are employed in government and private sectors gathered at Thimphu for raising fund for Yurung Dudjom Trashi Choeling Monastery. The Health Minister Lyonpo Zangley Drukpa was the chief guest. In Bhutan every villages have each monastery to pray for their goodness. The monasteries are very old and need urgent renovation. Therefore, extra social work led by H.H. Garab Rinpoche to raise fund for their own village monastery to renovate. Hundreds of people danated for their village monastery renovation and food and lodging fund for the monks. The fund raised was being handed over to the board of committee of village monastery
